What kits and tools are needed for survival when preparing for a natural disaster? Actually what are natural disasters, they are nothing but the natural imbalances. This means imbalance of all natural phenomenons for example cyclones. Cyclones are causing many calamities every year in the world especially at the seacoast areas. Other natural disaster is flood due extra raining.

To fight against such natural disaster is a thing which makes us have to think seriously. To fight against such natural disaster one should be prepared for this. Prepared in the ways that we should be aware of the accidents that may cause us problems due to our unawareness. To fight against these natural disasters the very basic thing is that one should have a kit that includes enough food and material that lasts for at least 10 days and enough water must be available for the same period as well.

Along with these food and other materials one should also have some communication equipments. There are just a few things that need to be kept in mind while making up a great disaster kit. Make a list of all the important things that you need to carry. Divide those things into categories, like for survival, important things and so on. Things required for survival should be of top priority. A health kit is necessary.
Health Kit:
1 hand towel
1 washcloth
1 hair comb, regular size (not pocket)
1 nail file or nail clipper
1 bath-size bar of soap in wrapper
1 toothbrush in sealed package
1 large tube of toothpaste
6 adhesive bandages (such as Band-aids)

Wrap the brand new items in the new hand towel, tie it with string or yarn, and place inside a sealed, one-litre plastic bag with a zipper closure.

A medic-kit is also required which should contain basic medicine and lotions to cure injuries. Keep money in a zipper pack so that when you get out of the disaster zone, you can buy necessary things.
